Why manage change? Change can be defined as the act of making something different. The concept of managing personal change has been studied for over a century. However, it wasn't until the mid-1980s that change management was explored within a business context. Change management has evolved into a crucial business discipline that drives positive results by modifying systems and behaviors. Therefore, managing change has become an essential skill for both leaders and employees in an organization.
